Rod and Reel Impact
Rod and Reel Impact is the 501(c)(3) charitable foundation of Rod and Reel Entertainment, created to use storytelling as a platform for awareness, education, community engagement, and cultural change. The foundation supports mission-driven projects that go beyond entertainment by using film, television, documentary programming, live events, screenings, and public initiatives to spotlight important social issues and elevate stories that deserve greater visibility.
Through its work, Rod and Reel Impact is designed to create meaningful partnerships with filmmakers, artists, educators, nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups, schools, foundations, and community leaders. These collaborations allow the foundation to expand access to storytelling, support underrepresented voices, encourage dialogue, and connect audiences with projects that inspire empathy, understanding, and action.
As part of its broader mission, Rod and Reel Impact is launching Casting Light, a film festival initiative created to bring awareness to important social issues, create conversations, and help bring about cultural change. Casting Light will serve as a platform for filmmakers and communities to come together around stories that challenge perspectives, inspire connection, and demonstrate the power of cinema to make a lasting impact.
